I would like to present to your attention one very unique and really working project. HandleMode is the next generation of social media platforms. Decentralization and blockchain technology make it superior to existing social media platforms. The added flexibility of the HandleMode split home screen, category system, and influencer sales network with its own cryptocurrency make these benefits exponential.

What is HandleMode?

HandleMode is developing a decentralized peer to peer messaging system that the contents of the message self destruct 5 seconds after viewing them. Alternatively, the user can elect to post short video clips or images to their “story” which is a familiar and popular social media concept used by multiple platforms. Our version will be new and improved with the contents of the messages being stored on a decentralized cloud storage network, making the contents nearly impossible to find or intercept.

HNDL Coins

The HandleMode native token (HNDL) is the cryptocurrency that powers lightning-fast cryptocurrency transfers on the blockchain between users and merchants with active offers in the influencer sales network. In order for users to take the initiative to advertise offers to their followers, they need the correct incentive. For this reason, some kind of commodity must be used in order to give these users the proper incentive to make these type of posts. This is why HandleMode has created our own token to be the commodity that powers everything on our network.

Allowing users to quickly and easily tip these tokens is another huge benefit to having our own token. Posts will have a “Tip” button right next to the “Like” and “Comment” buttons. Users can click this button and then use a slider bar to decide how many HNDLs they wish to tip the author of the content. The end goal is to re-elevate the journalist and media industry by making it extremely easy to monetize well-written relevant content on the network. Users will purchase or earn HNDLs through the influencer network and then either transfer them to friends or tip a micropayment to journalists for articles they like. Additional use cases would be tipping a cause or charity after seeing their post or even just tipping friends and family for really cool posts.

The social media platform also makes it easy for users to make blockchain transfers among themselves. Any user can click the “Handle Transfer” button inside the app and enter the recipient’s @username handle and the amount to be sent, and HandleMode will take care of the rest, all on the blockchain. This is accomplished by assigning a wallet ID address on the backend of HandleMode to each @username handle on the network. This allows users to make crypto transfers directly to @username handles.

Using @username handle cover complex/long wallet addresses will simplify things and allow the masses to start sending cryptocurrencies among themselves. One potential use case would be when friends are sharing the cost of a dinner or a trip; they can send HNDLs among each other in an effortless and straightforward way. These benefits will help lead to the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies.

Token Sale

There will only be 50,000,000,000 handle tokens (HNDL) to ever exist. The token sale will distribute 80% of the total token supply in four rounds. Ten percent will be locked up for longterm development reserves to complete all phases of the product; 5% will be distributed to the team and advisors, with limitations regarding when and how much they can sell at a time; and 16 the remaining 5% is reserved for attracting top influencers and celebrities to join and use our network. The reasoning behind the 50 billion token caps is that our research has shown that psychologically, an influencer is more likely to make an influencer post that pays them 100 HNDL instead of a decimal amount, such as .0001 tokens.
